On July 12, São Tomé e Príncipe celebrates its national holiday, Independence Day. Around this year’s celebrations, there were several news: The spokesperson for Euro Atlantic Airways (STPAirways’ cooperation partner) announced that they have plans for more frequent flights to São Tomé e Príncipe after meeting with Prime Minister Patrice Trovoada. São Tomé e Príncipe and Paraguai are beginning diplomatic relations. And a new military vessel, the NRP Centaura arrives in São Tomé e Príncipe to monitor the country’s waters.
